This publisher also had some surprising contributors.

There was artwork by Tim Vigil, Bill Tucci, Jimmy Palmiotti and Bill Maus. Even Liefeld.

Unfortunately, the centerfolds have been removed from my vol 1 #'s 1 and 2.

But, I would contend that the Cynder Annual should be put under Immortelle, and not Liar Comics.

While Hernandez did start to use Liar Comics to produce the Series II, they were still Immortelle books.

And, the Annual #1 was really the transition issue, I think, for the change.

Liar Comics IS imprinted on the front, and mentioned in the indicia.  Immortelle is listed first.

Here is a quote:

Published by Immortelle Studios, 39729 Arlington Ct., Palmdale, CA 93552 and Liar Comics, P.O. Box 192, Hawthorne, CA 90251.

I guess it is a coin toss, but I would lump it with Immortelle if given the chance.

Oh....and I have 4 isses, 5 if you count the annual.

Finally got to the 'I's in one of my boxes....

At 5 issues.

Of course, 2 of them are poor due to the lack of centerfolds.

Nice price, Earl.

I picked up some Liar Comics, too....so I'll be adding that in line with this publisher.

I know I have an issue of Cynder. Never cared for it. I have a comic from Liar Comics that was sent to retailers with a letter. I don't think it's anything special.

I now have 11 of the 13 issues from this publisher. I just need the Commemerative Edition of the Annual and the standard Hughes cover of Cynder II issue 1. Both are easily available when I get round to picking them up

Earl.
