YA! That art is done by Barry Windsor Smith on those Marvel Presents covers. He is one of my favorite cover artist. His interior art is just as good. He had a good run with Marvel Presents and did a bunch of other stuff. Worked on Iron Man, Conan the Barbarian, Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., Uncanny X-Men, and a bunch of other stuff.

I'll start off with a personal favorite, and the first UXM issue I ever bought...

(there were no new GI Joe or Transformers that week. GI Joe and Transformers were quickly forgotten after getting into the X-Men and other titles... )

Zeck does good interior art, but kick-a$$ covers...

Even Liefeld did good work... sometimes

Yeah, thats right... everyones favorite mutant midget berzerker is leading the gang! (Art Adams and Jim Lee are my favorite artists, do such great work! )

Being popular will consequently get you parodied...

-tom

.

I wont lie, shinedown's version is good, but Lynyrd Skynyrd's is what Jesus, Chuck Norris, Chesty Puller, Ronald Reagan, and my Father listen to every morning when they wake up. -'bobthebanshee' on Skynard's 'Simple Man' (an all-time favorite)

Glad you picked the set up of the storyline in Marvel Presents. Best part about those is that the price is pretty reasonable. Ive got most of the series and I thought back when I read them they were pretty good. Most have two or more stories in them. You ought like them, since your into Wolvie. They at least give a pretty good back ground story of Wolverine in them and it was way better the "Origin" mini crap they put out a few years ago. To me this is the real story.

Hope you enjoy them. Barry Winsdor Smith Rocks!
