Looks more promising than the upcoming film.
Even though I find Robert Downey, Jr. to be a competent actor, it seems sacrilege to cast an American in the role of Sherlock. (There are at least two other Americans who have portrayed him previously: Matt Frewer in 4 TV films and, ugh, Charlton Heston, also on TV.)
What seems stranger is the casting of Jude Law as Dr. Watson. Either Hollywood wanted to bring in the ladies en masse or Guy Ritchie contracted syphilis from Madonna and has lost his mind.

Oy with the poodles already!

I think the second one....the Madonna STD one. I haven't seen the preview, but I am not sure if I really could get into a Sherlock Holmes comic. The stories have been done in so many different ways and formats....

| I pickd up the first issue and thought it was pretty good. I've read very little Sherlock Holmes, so I'm not as familiar witht he stories as some of you seem to be. Maybe that helps. I figure I'll at least get the first arc and see if it continues to hold my interest.
