| I don't know how much of a collector you are as opposed to a reader, but if you don't have them and want to read some cool stories you should buy back issues of a few Superman (Issue # 123 to be exact!... Supergirl Prototype!!! Aug. 1958) & Adventure Comics. The 1960's were the heyday of the character in my opinion. -FBTA

Well I was actually interested in the newest volume of Supergirl issues, because the art looks great and I love looking at a HOT Supergirl. Not the 60's version, if ya know what I mean. I used to collect the Superman title, along with Wolverine, Action, Green Arrow, New Avengers and others. But a coupla years back I sold all of them. I seem to go in phases every coupla years. It's odd. So I guess I'd say I'm less of a collector and more of a reader/interested in the stories/characters.

I do like Supergirl and Powergirl but for me it is Zatanna all the way. Black Canary comes in a close second.
What if this were heaven, wouldn't it be Hell?

IMO Supergirl has been a good read and very consistent throughout. In some of the more recent issues you will have to probably puck up some of the New Krypton story arc but generally it is self contained. Even the brief cross into Amazons attack (#20) flows alright (meaning you do not have to read Amazons Attack). The title has had some of my most favorite artists on it and without a doubt the best looking Supergirl arc was Renato Guedes short run from 20-22. Guedes is by far my favorite artist and is one of the main reasons I got back into Superman and Action Comics (He does the art and colours on Superman).
I will not say it is the best books you can read out there but it has been an engaging title as I never really know where it is going to go next.
