WHY DOESN'T THIS WORK? (changing font size button)
AND HOW ABOUT COLOR AS WELL?
Must I look up a color code to try and change font color? Must I know how to program HTML to do simple changes to messages because the buttons are broke? Why did we choose a messageboards program that doesn't work? The last boards software was better than this one, at least you could change the font size and color easily. This was supposed to be an upgrade. And we wonder why people are leaving in droves...
Not trying to be negative, but posting on these boards has become extremely frustrating. How bout some answers?

| I'm not sure why you are having a problem with it. Seems to work for me.... Hmmm..... You don't have the selection between 'Design' and 'HTML' set on 'HTML' do you? I suppose it could be a skin issue, as well.....

I guess these things are happening because I am using firefox. None of the button codes are working, except for underline, italics and bold
color asks for the hexadecimal code and if you enter one it doesnt work color neither does size or font
Just tried it in explorer and it worked.
Very unfortunate because I have been getting faster load times in Firefox and explorer. That and because the site logs you out after a timeout of a few minutes every time, I have been using firefox because it is easy to log back in quickly because of the remembered password
very frustrating and I am logged out sometimes immediately when viewing the boards with firefox

| ... happening in firefox i guess ... another quirky bug, it wont let you change back to normal font color size (this off blue stuff) also you can post with totally colored font or large print, you must have a ... at the end or some type of regular text

I just got logged out, too. I did try using Firefox for a bit as well. It did seem to load faster for the main site, but didn't seem to make a difference in the forums. I don't think I ever tried to actually post anything with special characters, though.

| I have been using firefox almost exclusively now for CPG because I have been logging books since I got my membership re-instated. Problem with that is it logs me out very quickly. It seems like it is set to timeout and do so. THis is a huge pain, because I often multitask when logging books, especially if the site is acting slow. I get tied up with something else for a few minutes, like filing away books I just logged and then when I come back, I have to relogg on to continue. Having to type it into explorer is a pain, so i often use firefox as i have a one click log in on that browser. It almost seems like the site is designed to continuously log you out in order to generate a higher hit count to satisfy advertisers. The continous logging out is very frustrating and adds loads of time to using the site which is sometimes already slow...
