Small and quite disappointing last year.

Still....going back this year.

At least they'll have Erin Gray....be interesting to see how she has held up....I remember Col Wilma Dearing dearly from my adolescence.

Oh cool how close to the border is this  (Blue Springs).

Where is this gonna be and is this like a big room or is it like in a little ballroom at a hotel?

How many booths are they would you say?

thanks

1. Don't know how far from Blue Springs it is....but it is in Overland Park, just outside KC,MO.

2. In a large multifunction area at the Overland Park International Trade Center.

3. Don't know how many booths this year....from what I can recall without going to the link, maybe 20 or so creators/guests....and there were probably 40 or so vendors.

Weather in KC was bad this afternoon.

No pics....but the vendors were better for the most part this year.  A lot more GA books this year.  Did pick up a Latest #2 I had been looking for.

Didn't stop by any creator or celebrity booths, though....nor did I take pictures.

The KC Star did take a pic of me and asked my name, so I may be in the paper....

Buffyfan, they had a Claire Voyant #2 for sale.....probably a 7.0, but the guy wanted $400 for it.  He said he'd settle for $340....I passed.

There were still far to many people selling those long boxes of comics just shoved in no order, w/out bags and boards....as usual, I just passed by.  I made a point to try thank everyone who had their books in alpha order.

Also, there were at least 4 vendors this year with huge tpb and hc stock for sale.  Picked up a # of trades.

So, was at least more productive for me than last year......but no involvement with any creators or psuedo-celebs.  The only one I actually wanted to go see was Brian Pulido, but his table was always mobbed.

Reality-show people are HARDLY what I would consider a celebrity.

yeah but at the end of the day, they bring more people in that might not go check out comic stuff. How come you think Comic Con is so big.
