This is one of the most confusing runs I have ever come across.  Does anyone know of a site with a sort of check list or order or something referring to this character??  Looking through the price guide section just ends up confusing as to what order they go in...and how many there are.....

Paul Terry's Comics

Adventures of Mighty Mouse

Mighty Mouse Adventures

and the numbering of these kept changing and is hard to follow.  Not to mention the publisher changes......St John, Pines, Dell........

OOOOPS....and if one of the mods could put this in the TITLE thread rather than the publisher thread that I posted it in...that would be most appreciated Smile  Sorry!!!

The comics run like this:

Several publishers put out Mighty Mouse comic books. There were two main titles, "Mighty Mouse" and the "Adventures of Mighty Mouse".

"Mighty Mouse"

"The Adventures of Mighty Mouse" (renaming of Terry's Comics, where Mighty Mouse appeared)

"Mighty Mouse", Marvel Comics, #1-10, 1990, based on the Ralph Bakshi version (Mighty Mouse: The New Adventures).

(Thanks to Wikipedia! BigGrin...with minor corrections.)

And if I remember correctly...there is a number cross over...somebody used the same number for their first issue...that was already used as the last number of the previous publisher...:hmmmm:

Here's a good history of the character:

Thanks Shadow.  I never think to look comic stuff up on Wikipedia.

In the price guide it's harder to organize as everything is broke down a little too much.  Like the Mighty Mouse Adventures.....it's like 2- through whatever......and says number 1 was the Adventures of Mighty Mouse.   OK....I get the word rearranging.....but why not just keep them all together and just note that next to number 1????   And then there is the title that keeps changing names......Terry Toons..........to Paul Terry's Comics.....to Mighty Mouse.......and not only does it change names.....it changes publishers too.........sounds like a nightmare back in the early 50's.

Heh, BigGrin...that one is mild...

Try some of the titles that changed from Dell, to King Features, to Charlton, to Gold Key, to Whitman, to...w00t

Flash Gordon, Popeye, and Jungle Jim come to mind...BigGrin

Or some of the 1950's companies that used 6 different names for their publishing efforts...and sometimes kept the titles the same..."Better/Nedor/Standard" is one example...:hmmmm:

To some of us...It's all part of the fun! BigGrin
