| Did you recently remove issues from the database? Last week I had 8883 issues in my collection and that agreed with my Excel database. Now my collection is showing 8880 in the database.

| I know that I didn't remove any..... In the cases where an issue is a duplicate entry, we transfer member holdings to the consolidated issue before it is deleted. In cases where a book is suspected to not actually exist, but the database shows a member holding, we don't delete the issue. I can't imagine a situation where any book would be outright deleted if it showed a member holding it....... So, as far as I know, nothing has been removed. And, I did not do any issue consolidations recently..... Sorry I couldn't be more help.

| Are you entering books through CPG 1.0 or 2.0? If you enter them in 1.0 the total amount does not include any CGC books you may own...they are talleyed seperately...and entries do not show up in your 2.0 total until you have refreshed the "My Collection" page... If you enter them in 2.0 they should all be showing...

| I entered everything through 2.0. and I have no CPG books. I always enter my books in my excel spreadsheet after entering here. I manually enter the total showing here in my spreadsheet to make sure the totals agree after entering new books in the spreadsheet. Last week the total was showing 8883 and that is the number I typed in my spreadsheet. It is now showing 8880 here and I didn't remove any books (although I did start entering new books for the week, noticed the error and removed the books that I had entered.) Had I changed something in my spreadsheet inadvertantly (which I have been know to do) then that total would have changed and they would be showing unequal. The change occurred here.

| I did a little reworking of the Wolverine Weapon X trades last week. I do not believe I removed any issues though I did shift them around, but in the transfer something may have gone wrong. If you have one of the trades take a look to see if you edition is still listed. http://www.comicspriceguide.com/p-issues.asp?t_ID=18307

| THat's not it I don't own any of those trades. Guess I'll have to go through and manually compare the issues. Is there any way on your end to track changes made to my collection in the last 2 weeks?

| OK since my last post in this thread I have done 2 things. 1. I have manually compared my excel sheet with the listing on the Price Guide. I could find no differences and with almost 9000 book it was no small task. 2. I completely re-worked my excel spreadsheet and recalculated my number of issues (using 3 different counting and totaling methods that all agree). The bottom line is that I get 8891 total issues. That is 11 more issues then showing in 2.0 BUT that is the total number of issues showing on 1.0. If you look at the page that lists total issues by publisher in 2.0 the only discrepancy between your values and mine is total DC titles. Your list shows that I have 6843 issues from DC while my spreadsheet shows 6854. All other publishers totals agree and when adding the totals from each publisher it comes to 6880 on 2.0 vs. 6891 on my spreadsheet. However if you go to 1.0 and look at the listing of books by publisher while the numbers for each publisher agree between 1.0 and 2.0 the total number of issues is different and 1.0 agrees with my total. I am convinced that there is a totalling error within your database somewhere resulting in a lesser number of issues being included in the DC total. Can you look at how those totals that I pointed out are determined and see if you can find an error? I think you can stay just with DC because that's where the problem seems to be. In the meantime I have downloaded the DC excel spreadsheet from the Price Guide. I am going to start going through that and see if I can find anything.

We'll look into it. Thanks for narrowing it down...
