Okay, I'll toss this one in here as I remember finding it hilarious when I was a kid.

Comics 1-120, Trades 1-5.

I have 66 total, in 2 runs:

1-54, 107-118

No trades.....

I also think that I need to do some research on issue sales.  I seem to recall looking a couple years ago for more, and they were a little more than CPG was showing.

Edited to post complete Groo List:

I have compiled a list of all know Groo books and titles from all publishers that I know of.  I have NOT included reprint TPBs in the list but have included the Groo Chronicles (which reprints the original Pacific series) and Special Editions.

StarSlayer #4 Pacific (1982)  2 page ad inside and back cover

StarSlayer #5 Pacific (November 1982) 2nd official appearance of Groo

(Voulme 1: Pacific)

Groo the Wanderer #1-8 Pacific (December 1982 - April 1984)

Groo the Wanderer Special #1 Eclipse (October 1984)

(Volume II Epic/Marvel)

Epic Illustrated  #27 Epic/Marvel (December 1984)

Groo the Wanderer #1-120 Epic/Marvel (March 1985 - January 1995)

The Death of Groo Epic/Marvel (November 1987)

The Groo Chronicles (89-90) Reprints original Pacific Series

The Life of Groo Epic/Marvel (April 1993)

Marvel Age  96 (Groo Cover) 24, 49, 73 (Groo ads/articles/interviews)

(Volume III Image)

Groo #1-12 Image (December 1994 - November 1995)

(Volume IV Dark Horse)

Groo #1-4 (Dark Horse mini 1998)

Groo & Rufferto #1-4  (Dark Horse mini 98-99)

Dark Horse Presents Jr. Annual '99 Dark Horse (August 1999)

Groo Mightier than the Sword #1-4  (Dark Horse mini 99-00)

Dark Horse Extra #42 Dark Horse (December 2001)

Groo Death & Taxes #1-4 (Dark Horse mini 01-02)

Groo 25th Anniversary Special (September 2007)

Groo Hell on Earth #1-4  (Dark Horse mini 07-08)

(Misc. and Special Editions)

Wizard #78 Wizard Press (February 1998)

Groo Chronicles Limited Edition  (1500)  Hardcover (Graphitti Designs)

Life & Death of Groo Limited Edition (1000) Flip Hardcover (Graphitti Designs)

And of course, for me the most important thing to own at the bottom of this list is a piece of Aragones’ OA from Groo! (one can always dream!)

Original post:

As CtB is my favorite character of all time, I also have a find appreciation for the spin-offs, Cerebus and Groo...

I am trying to collect every Groo comic.

As for the epic run,  it is very tough to find the later issues.  I have been trying to complete the run for a while now.  Not putting my nose to the grindstone as much as I should, as I only look for the issues when I can remember to.

i am currently searching for 91 95 96 97 101 103 104 105 116 from the Epic run

89 106 111 112  118 120
(scored 89 and 120, 106 111 112 and 118 are otw)

I also need

Groo chronicles 1 2 3 4 5 6

Life of Groo 1

Groo (image) 12

Groo: Death and Taxes (DH) 1 2 3 4

Groo the Wanderer (DH) 3 4

I have all the rest

The run to issue 54 was from when it first came out (I did fill in a few later).

The issues I have in the 100's were part of a couple of long boxes I bought at a flea market.

Mile High doesn't have very much in stock on the later Epic issues, but their listed prices seem quite steep (up to $15.00??).

My LCS has 1 Groo issue that I seem to recall, and it's one of the Image books I believe.

Does seem a little tough to find the later ones now that you mention it.
