Here's a lot that I purchased back in November and finally finished grading.
(I still have about 800 to go from purchases going back to last spring. I have a tendency to run out of boxes, bags, & boards and the nearest comic shop is 30 miles away. So the books have a tendency to back up... that and I keep buying.)
Nothing too exciting but the price was $10.00 + $26.50 s/h. I think I was the only bidder. The vast majority of the comics were NM/NM-. The best part was the Ult.SM TPBs & the Ult.XM HC. I had never read anything from the Ult. universe, so they were a nice introduction.
X-Men 2-9,11-22,24,27-35,38-45,50,54,110
Uncanny X-Men 281,286-288,294-296,300,308-310,320B,324
X-Men Unlimited 1,3
X-Men: Road to Onslaught 1
X-Men/Onslaught 1
Marvel Universe/Onslaught 1
Excalibur 100
X-Factor 84-86,125
X-Force 16-18
Gambit 1-4
Rogue 1-4
Bishop 1-4
Avengers 400
Cable & Deadpool 14
What If? 50
The Darkness/The Incredible Hulk 1
Witchblade/Wolverine 1
Spider-man/Daredevil 1
Backlash/Spider-Man 1A
Ultimate Spider-Man 37
X4 1-2
The Ultimates 2 1-2,5
Ultimate War 1-4
X-Men: Ronin 1-5
Marvel Mangaverse 1-6
Marvel Mangaverse: New Dawn 1
New Avengers 1B,1-4
Devils Reign 1-4,5B,6B
A Moment of Silence 1
Heroes 1
DC Vs Marvel Comics TPB 1C
Ult. Spider-Man TPB 1C,2-3
9-11: Artists Respond TPB
9-11: World's Finest TPB
Ult. X-Men (HC/TPB) 1

head-rush (2/21/2009) that is a nice list of books ya got there robocat. Plenty to read and bag n board!
The only problem is finding the time. What I used to have dedicated to reading has been absorbed by grading for now. I have 5 lots of over 100 comics each and 3 of at least 80 each to get through before I'll start reading again. Then comes the tough decision of what title to dig into. I'm going to hold off on the X-titles until I have a straight run of GSX1 through 200. I'm missing GSXM1,95-97,99,101-113,119,125-129,132-135,138-139,142,165. I'm planning on getting most of these stories in Classic X-Men or other reprints. Otherwise, I would be waiting a very long time not to mention spending a fortune.

Here's a somewhat disappointing UXM lot of 83 that I won last December for $54.93($45.03 + $9.90 s/h). Comics were described as "from G to F. The average grade is VG." The pictures made most of them appear VF or better, but most of them had tanned interiors. They were still better than described, 25% VG+ - VG/FN, 50% FN- - FN/VF, & 25% VF- - VF/NM.
Here's what I got:
144,147-149,151,153,155,158-159,163-164,170-172,175,180-181,184,186,198-202,205-207,
209,211-219,230,248-250,253,260,265,269,272-276,278-280,282-283,287,289,292,294-297,
300-301,303,308,316-318,323,328,333-334,340-341,343,358,371, & Annuals 4-5,8,10,'95
Total PGV after grading was $196.08. On the face of it, it doesn't look like a terrible deal, but since most of them had a PGV of less than $2, I feel like I overpaid.
Most of these are duplicate, triplicate, quadruplicate, or quintuplicate copies for me, so it's high time I started trading some of my lower grade extras in for store credit at the LCS or selling them to HPB. With the addition of this lot I have 300 extra UXM and 200 individual issues. I'm definitely going to keep the 140s as readers, the keys (158,171,201,205,211-213,248, 282-283), and 11 others that are my sole copies, but maybe I'll be able to make some lemonade with the lemons of the lot.
Some of my favorite covers from this lot (by Dave Cockrum, Paul Smith, Barry Windsor-Smith?, John Romita Jr., Alan Davis, and Jim Lee):

Here's another lot UXM that I won in December. 26 comics this time for $21.59($9.99 + $11.60 s/h). They were described as in varying condition, which they were as they graded from VG+ to NM-.
Issue numbers:
123,131,145,161,192,194-196,208,212,215,217,224,227,231,233-236,239,241-245,247
123 & 131 are both readers(they were the only 2 I need from this lot), 145 & 161 are nice enough to keep as extras, as are 212 and 244. The rest are a mix of keepers, trade bait, and dumpers. Total PGV based on my grades was $118.48.
Covers by Cockrum & JR JR:

Here's a 42 mixed comic lot plus Marvel Team-Up Essentials - Vol. 1, that I won last October for $11.53($5.00+$6.53 s/h). I graded most of them a month ago, when I was getting ready for our local city-wide garage sale, but held off on the Valiants since I knew I was going to keep them.
Nothing too exciting in the comic lot, but there were more than a few issues from titles I'm collecting, that I was missing. I more than doubled my existing Valiant collection . Grades ranged from VF - NM-.
Web of Spider-Man - 105
Spider-Man Chapter One - 9
What If? - 35
Fantastic Four (Vol.2) - 10
X-Men - 168
Wolverine - 64
Kitty Pryde, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. - 2
Blackwulf - 1
X-Factor - 60,77
Ghost Rider (1992) - 21
Ghost Rider (2005) - 5,6
X-Man - 7
Generation X - 57
Spaceknights - 3
Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. (Vol.2) - 30
Green Lantern (Vol.3) - 52,156
Nightwing - 64
Catwoman (1993) - 74
Adventures of Superman - 501
Superman (Vol.2) - 78
Superman, The Man of Steel - 25
Human Target Special - 1
Bloodshot - 8
Eternal Warrior - 13,20
Turok, Dinosaur Hunter - 1,9,16
Secret Weapons - 5,10
Magnus Robot Fighter - 30
X-O Manowar - 15
Harbinger - 21
H.A.R.D. Corps - 10
Magnus & Nexus - 2
The Tenth: Evil's Child - 1
Exposure - 3
The Darkness - 4
The Mask (1995) - 15
I loved these Ghost Riders covers:

Now I just have to get the first 4 issues.

So I went on a day trip to Austin on Monday to visit a friend and do some shopping. I went to 3 Goodwills, 2 thrift stores, a LCS, Half-Price Books, and a vintage consignment store.
At the first Goodwill I found a new Axis & Allies($4) and Bob & Doug ($5 each):

The card for the figures are bent, so I'll have no qualms about opening them up and displaying them.
I found this shirt at the first thrift store for $2:

At the 2 thrifts and 2nd GW, I picked up a few books for $4 each: 3 Star Trek hard covers, a Bill Mahr book, a giant Bill Moyer book, a 375+ pg Werewolf Encyclopedia; and several videos: Paradise(a Blue Lagoon clone with Phoebe Cates-Yum!), The Wizard of Speed & Time, Star Trek: TAS Vol.1(Now I just need Vols. 3-4), Lost Angels(w/ Ad-Rock from the Beastie Boys), Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, Hardware, and more. I've tried curb my VHS purchases, but at $1 a piece they're hard to pass up. I also got a Mickey Mouse blanket for my cats' bedding for $3 and a Descendents CD for $2.
I went to the LCS to ask about their CGC service. It cost $50 a book, so I figure I'm better off sending them on my own. I bought copies of Avengers 180-181 for $3. They were in a low to mid grade cond., so nothing too exciting(I needed to make a purchase to get my parking validated).
At HPB I picked up 6 Vols. of Time-Life's Old West series, books on Ancient Greece and Egypt, 2 W.C. Fields books, The Tao of Pooh, and a few others for $1 each.

And I got some comics:

The breakdown
Swamp Thing 8-15,17-21,23 - 2@$4,10@$2 - VG+ - FN
Ghostly Tales 103(Ditko art) - $2 - GD+
Champions 2,13 - $2 ea - VG+
Sub-Mariner 36 - $2 - VG+
Fantastic Four 220 - $1 - FN
Marvel's Greatest Comics 42 - $1 - VG+
Boris Karloff Tales of Mystery 32,83 - $2/$1 - VG+
Rip Off Comix #5 - $2 - FN+
Freak Brothers #5(later print) - $2 - VG+
The Adv. of Fat Freddy's Cat Book 4 - $2 - FN
2 signed Dr. Radium books(1994/1995) - $2 ea (now I'll have to get the rest of the series)
X-Men: Magik 1-4 $1.50 ea - NM
All of my grades are quick visuals without taking them out of the mylars. I probably overpaid for some, but I got them all as readers, so I'm happy .
I'll scan some of the Swamp Things once I get around to really grading them. (They're going to the back of the line, so don't hold your breath )
I'm going back to Austin on Saturday for The Independent Media Expo(http://www.staple-austin.org/). A friend of mine has a table for his art, etc., and he's going let me have some space a few boxes of comics. So, hopefully, I'll be able to unload some of extras.
