Just done a bit more checking what I have / don't have for 1982. I finished my audit and putting the promotional issues aside for a moment I am missing more of 1982 than I thought. I think there were 377 regular issues and I have 322 of them at present, giving me a wants list of 55 issues to complete a full year. Wow, you're in good shape Earl. I'm toying with the idea of biting your moves and seeking out the 1981 DCs. I currently have less than 40% of them! There's tons of war and horror comics in there that I never bought when I was a kid.
I made a couple volume buys from mycomicshop.com, but they still haven't brought me above 40%. Now that I've done a little bit of buying the '81s, I suppose my OCD comic collecting nature will not permit me to stop before I complete the year.

I found two problems with my original 1982 checklist, a miscount and I missed the 1982 Superman Spectacular off the list. That gives 379 DC's for 1982.
