| I was doing a similar thing after seeing Mike Ballard's post a year or so ago. i was focusing on both Marvel and DC from 1983. That kinda fell by the wayside but now I might rekindle the flames and continue my quest. I'm heading to megacon in Orlando next week so maybe I'll pick up some issues there. Good hunting, Earl. I have a feeling you might have most of those issues already.

I perhaps need 40 or so for the full year, I have not put together a own vs. need list yet for 1982. I know I need all the GI Combats and all the Masters of the Universe mini comics for example. The latter are hard to find as it's impossible to tell the DC originals from the mattel reprints from scans on ebay.

I was planning at some point in the near future to do this for titles from 1983 because it is the year I was born.
I am glad to see that I am not the only person out there with ideas like this.
Also, thanks for the index link. That will come in really handy.
I am so glad I decided to drop in here. Another place to spend too much time. Oh well....
What if this were heaven, wouldn't it be Hell?

I was aiming for the late 60's but got lost. I knew I should have turned left at Albuquerque.
At least I had some decent cartoons to watch as a kid.

| I have started to do an audit on what I have, noting any missing issues and also candidates for upgrades (my Captain Carrot issue 8 is only a GD for example). I have checked A through C so far which reveals... | Title | Issues | Total | Own | | Action | 527 to 538 | 12 | 12 | | Adventure | 489 to 494 | 6 | 6 | | All Star Squadron | 5 to 16, An1 | 13 | 13 | | Arak Son of Thunder | 5 to 16 | 12 | 12 | | Arion Lord of Atlantis | 1 to 2 | 2 | 2 | | Batman | 343 to 354, An8 | 13 | 13 | | Best of DC Digest | 20 to 31 | 12 | 6 | | Blackhawk | 251 to 253 | 3 | 3 | | Brave and the Bold | 182 to 193 | 12 | 12 | | Camelot 3000 | 1 | 1 | 1 | | Captain Carrot and His Amazing Zoo Crew | 1 to 10 | 10 | 10 |
So that's a pretty good start with just 6 issues of Best of DC Digest missing from A to C. Earl.
