This is something that we do over in another forum and it's impressive to see what some people have collected together.

It doesn't have to be full runs, or even the same title, just as long as there is a theme to what you've collected!

Here's a few of mine:

Probably the most difficult run I've tried to put together. I'm still missing 8 issues if anyone has any that aren't in the picture!

Various jungle themed comics.

The Jungle Actions and the slabbed Jumbo are all top graded copies.

Another difficult set I've been trying to put together. If you have any I don't have let me know!

Buffyfan, just gorgeous collections...

'Stunning' like Earl said is definitely fitting.

I am afraid I can't help on your missing issues, though.  My GA collection is very small.

But, from the pics, those ones you have are in an enviable condition.

Thank you for sharing.

Hey bf, do you pay guide prices for comics like this? I almost always wait to get comics for considerably less than Overstreet Guide values, but that makes it hard to find the cooler comics in higher grade. Do you just bite the bullet and pay the going price, or wait around until you find a deal?

I have a pretty strong desire to start getting some high ticket items. If it's as hard to find deals as it seems, I'll probably have to buy fewer, at higher prices. Cost is one of the reasons that I've been getting GA Fawcett comics over DCs. They're so much cheaper for some reason, but sometimes I feel like they're just as neat.

You need to subscribe to www.gpanalysis.com if you haven't already. If you're buying books that cost a little more using GPA to gauge the price will save you a lot of money and headache.

GPA prices are much more in tune with the market then Overstreet or CPG.

There are very few books that I've paid over GPA on. Usually if I do it's a top graded copy or a pedigreed book.

Basically what I'm saying is for the most part I wait out the books I want or a better way to put it really is that I try and buy the bargains if it's a book I like.

When it comes to the Raggedy Ann books unless they are seriously overpriced I buy them when I find them based on the condition. I haven't paid more than about $30 a piece for them. Rarity beats out condition a lot with me. The few nongraded books I've paid over guide on are based on scarcity of the book.

My War 11 and Ghost 4 are prime examples. I don't even collect war comics but when you find a well known scarce copy like that you buy it as a book like that will always sell for multiples of guide.

People depend on price guides too much at times. If you find a book in an eBay store that has a "Make Offer" option instead of making an offer right away just watch it for a few weeks and then make an offer. The longer it sits in the stores the more likely they'll accept your REASONABLE offer.
