| Ok, So I found someone who has issues #1-13 of Invincible (Quite possibly my favorite comic series) and is willing to let them go for $250. Money is tight for me right now, but I should have the money in 1 months time to buy them from him. I'm actually really excited, I'm currently trying to make a full run on the Invincible comics. I've never had a full run before and this would be a huge chunk to fill my invincible collection. I got the bug.  I'll update with more information and pics once I get the comics (Hopefully everthing pans out, get the money, get the books)

I would love to check that out,hmmm...one site I go to has it showing the first issue alone value at $100. That's a good question and glad you caught that, I'd hate to be taken advantage of,I'm not a "value" collector I just try to buy what I can to read, I don't flip comics or keep up with values much, I'm a "reading collector".

We're talking about the Kirkman series right? If I got that wrong, my apologies.
Overstreet lists #1 in 9.2 for $5. CPG lists is at $24 in 9.4. There's an ebay completed listing for Invincible #1 CGC 9.8 for $39.99. I imagine that was so much because some folks go nutso over CGC 9.8s. Another completed sale had raw copies of #1 & #2 going for $39.95. But there's another raw #1 completed listing that went for $127.50, so who knows? That high price seems like an aberration, considering the other sales.
I know what you mean about not wanting to get taken. I get excited when I see comics I really want, then get all nervous that I'm about to pay too much for them.

Maybe I just need to research these things more often. I don't know I'm gonna try to talk this guy down,see if he's ok with it or not. I mean this is some pretty damming evidence. Sound good and thank you for your help. It's good news ( I know not to pay that price) and bad news (now I have to try to talk this guy down and possibly continue my search for 1-13) Either way it's good to know that I have people here that can help me. Thank you.
