Adding in URL from old forum:
http://www.comicspriceguide.com/forum2/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=39447
| Since everyone else seems to have their own thread about quests, hunts etc.. I decided to start my own. At some point I intend to have a complete Spiderman colection. Not just a full run of amazing, but complete runs of all the major title produced under the Spiderman name.
Some qualifiers:
I don't care about variants, one-shots, and mini or maxi series. (I have a long box full of them, AKA 90's crap)
I do want all the Annuals, Giant size and Specials
The series has to have lasted a year, with the possible exception of a volume 2,3 etc... of something
From what I can tell these are all the series that Marvel has put out:
Amazing Spiderman V1 and V2 (as far as I'm concerned these are really the same thing)
Sensational Spiderman V1
Sensational Spiderman V2
Spectacular Spiderman V1
Spectacular Spiderman V2
Spiderman
Peter Parker Spiderman
Ultimate Spiderman
Marvel Knights Spiderman
Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman
Web of Spiderman
Marvel Team-up V1
Spiderman Team-up V2
Marvel Team-up V3
Marvel Team-up V4
Spiderman Unlimited V1
Spiderman Unlimited V2
Spiderman Unlimited V3
Marvel Tales
If I missed any, please let me know.
Rather than post what I have I'll post what I need starting with Amazing: |

Good luck when you start hitting the 1 - 26 issues. I'm currently going for the low numbers and its a PITA trying to win auctions for the key books. You also end up with pretty low grades unless yo can afford some big $$$
Dropping your pants will not get you comics.

| I had no intentions of picking up anything this week but my LCS go in a run of mid-grade ASM's in the 40 -70 range. Most were on the lower end of the grading side (4.0 -5.0) but a couple stood out. I grabbed a nice copy of ASM #60 for slightly below guide and set aside a decent #67 to pick-up in a few weeks. There are a couple in the high 40's that I may revisit.

Yeah, those early ASM's are hot cookies and will remain so. Good luck with your quest.

Comic conventions are the way to go.

I havent gotten anything for my ASM run in months.
--------------------------------------------“I don’t do this for the Commander in Chief. I do this for my country, and I will continue to do so.” "They are blind to history's clear lesson, for history teaches with unmistakable emphasis that appeasement but begets new and bloodier war. It points to no single instance where this end has justified that means, where appeasement has led to more than a sham peace. Like blackmail, it lays the basis for new and successively greater demands until, as in blackmail, violence becomes the only other alternative." "Why," my soldiers asked of me, "surrender military advantages to an enemy in the field?" I could not answer. - Gen Douglas MacArthur
