lost another one. BUT, I just got it on a buy now offer for 1-7 (all NM-M) plus Opening Shots Sketch book, and Civil War Edition of the Daily Bugle.

Hello Mr. Warwick,

That price looks good, if they all are 1st prints, or some of the more rare covers are there. 2d prints or the like...don't waste your time (unless you like the covers). Civil War is a good read, I think that you'll enjoy it.

Concerning your question as to if these comics will appreciate over time: yes (if you keep them in mint condition), but not much. They are not rare, they are all over the place. It is best to buy modern comics because you enjoy them, not as an investment. It is the rare modern comic that achieves a high value, like Ultimate Spider-Man #1, Walking Dead #1, or Invincible #1. Then again, any comic is only worth as much people are willing to pay for it. If you are looking for great investments (and awesome reads) I suggest collecting Golden Age (1940's- around 1958), Silver Age (around 1958- around 1971), and some of the Bronze Age titles (1971- around 1985). After that it is toilet city as far as values go. I wish you the best of luck; there are a lot of great guys here on these boards that are knowledgeable and willing to share that knowledge with anyone who asks (Jesse James, ZombiesAteMyBrain, Boboset, Earl, Speedy D, Bobbafettesb, head-rush, and Lookwhoitis just to name a few; but there are many more). Ask and you shall receive a good answer. Be well.

TEX

Hey, thanks, for the info, Tex. Yea, I kinda thought something like the Civil War series was a dime a dozen. Still doesn't hurt to treat them like they are worth something. But, I am looking forward to the read.

My heyday was the Bronze Age. I still have a decent collection of Marvel from that period and a decent number from the Silver Age era (60s). Conditions vary.

I wont be shy. Thanks again.
