Okay here we go, cookies clear etc... I used IE7 for this example because I didn't want to clear my cookies in FireFox but the end result is the same.

1) Browse to 1.0, cookies cleared

2) Log in

3) Browse to my collection, Choose Marvel (note the URL on the bottom of the screen, pub=mv)

4) What the he??, no issues?

5) Change URL param to pub=1 and we get Marvel

6) Edit a title (Punisher in this case)

7) Edit mode no change

8) Add price paid(.75) and click edit, form submits no issue, value retained

9) Return to list of comics, value is retained.

10) I then try to edit another comic and I get this error:

I can do nothing in 1.0 unless I close a browser and start over, I then can repeat the process and edit one comic before I get an error.

If I try to change the amount paid in 2.0 it doesn't stick.

same stuff has been happening to me too, this is the third day. 2.0 is slowly improving, but you gotta have one of them functional y'know?

Same here. Bryan I think you are missing out on a big PR move here by at least letting your paying customers know what's up. I was okay with 2.0 launching before it was functional as long as 1.0 was still useable. 1.0 is now not functional either so we're now paying for a broken website.

I know you are only human but you haven't been communicating your progress to your customers which is just bad service anyway you slice it. How's about a status update from you. At some point I think it warrants an extension to everyone's subscription by a month while you get things sorted out.

What's in my long boxes? http://www.comicspriceguide.com/world/default.asp?m=icebreaka

Great......another "selective" problem...

I'm using 1.0 at home and at work...two different computers and OS's...and I'm not having any of the problems your showing...

Bryan has been notified...

I am having the same problem with 1.0 that Soldiers is facing, on 3 computers and a 3G web browsing phone.  In addition, I am trying to upload scans on 2.0 and that version will not let me.

Argh???!?

Well not so much as I have 2.0 open in one window and 1.0 in another.

the problems seem to follow a pattern.  I log into CPG 1.0 but I get a run-time error when I try to search.  Then I got forums, back into guide, which brings me into the CPG 2.0, then I use the cpg 1.0 link to get back to CPG 1.0 and I log in.  Then I am able to add a comic to my collection or tag a comic that I already have into a box.  But if I add a comic and then try to put into a box, then it crashes...  Then I have to go to forum, CPG 2.0 and back into CPG 1.0 to put that comic into a box and mark it for sale.  Then the pattern repeats......  This is very time consuming!!!!!!!!

I haven't found any pattern, but the problems happen every single time, on multiple computers. 1.0 doesn't work; there's gotta be a database error.

2.0 seems to work about as well as it has in the past, but it lacks tons of features from 1.0. The recently added feature of being able to add price paid for a comic in 2.0 does not work, I haven't ever seen it work.

I havent seen it mentioned yet...sooo, heres another problem:

If I go into 1.0, my comic total (when it decides to show up) has dropped about $900 (although with recent additions and prices increases on some of my books, my collection has actually increased by about $500)....if I go into 2.0, I get another total for my collection (its only off by about $300)....if I click into my collection in 2.0, I now get a third total....if I actually physically add the totals of my entire collection, I get a fourth total....If I add in cgc books on 1.0 I get a fifth total...and if I add in cgc on 2.0 I get a sixth total....dont know if anyone else is having this happen, so, just in case someone else is, know that I feel your pain and you are not alone.

ps....This is just my personal opinion here, but, I HATE 2.0....1.0 was a much quicker and WAY easier of an interface....like the old saying goes, "if it ain't broke, DON'T fix it"
