Make that 735...

And just to put it into perspective...our database lists 348 titles with 6080 issues possible...

Guess I've got a ways to go...

Now I have a whopping 104 Charlton books.  Mainly Silver Age Blue Beetle and Captain Atom.

I'm at 70 now.  Only four to go before I have one-tenth the number of Charltons that Shadow has!

My Charlton Checklist is still growing. Ramon Schenk had been telling people the Popeye educational series were published by Charlton, and I've found that he is correct. I owned a few already and I bought a few more. Although they are marked as King Features on the cover, the indicia does say they are published by Charlton

I created a page last year for the Charlton & Xerox Digests....
http://covergallery.sinfree.net/Charlton/Xerox_Comic_Digests.html

If anyone obtains a new one or some price variants, I am collecting scans for other collectors. Some of these publications are not actually comics. Some are text with illustrations. All are extremely tough to locate in high grade.

Originally, I thought Modern Comics were an imprint of Charlton. I don't really believe that anymore, so I will be pulling all the Modern listings on a future revision of my site:

(Rhetorical Question) Does anyone own "Let's read the newspaper?"
It's a book that I'm curious about.

Interesting...

I'll have to look through some of my other King books and see when they started using Charlton for printing...

That might explain the transition of titles from King to Charlton...

I have the full series of Popeye Careers...but I missed out on a "School packet" that included posters and teacher reference materials...(sigh)...
