| Hey Gents and Ladies, Would you take a look at these comics and give me an estimation on the grades please? I am really proud of the House of Mystery #143, the pages are off white and it seems nearly flawless. I just found these scans on my external hard drive. Front. Golden Age (1940's)

The Atom looks about a 6.0 or better
The HOM about an 8.0 and is beautiful
The Action about a 1.5 and a bit nasty
The Cap about a 3.0 are those original staples?

The Cap about a 3.0 are those original staples?Thanks Mr. Davis, I thnk that those staples in the Cap are original, they have a bit of rust on them. I purchased it in the same condition a few years back. I have to say I am a little disappointed. I thought the Cap, the HOM, and the Atom would grade higher (especially considering the age of the comics). But you live and you learn. I appreciate your time Mr. Davis. Happy New Year! TEX

I think earls grades were very good, but the HOM is probally much much lower. There appears to be 3 circle stains running along the right side of the book and into the orange dudes elbow. IF they are stains it would automatically shoot an otherwise great looking book into the low grades...

I noticed that after the scan too, but I assure you it isn't noticeable on the book. Actually, the book looks much better in reality, that is why I was so disappoited with the 8.0.
