The Fuj (1/4/2009)
The X Men have not only been NOT lame since 175, but were the it book for much of the 200s Aaron. Claremont loves the savage land because he was infatuated with dinosaurs as a kid and this is his way to live vicarously through his writing pen. Fuj 2, Marcus 0 Ding Ding! 2 Points go to the Fuj.

No you still lose. X-men started sucking upon creation. The most impressive thing about Claremont is the characters he created/help to create. Is there a particular arc you would like to know about?
Partial Credit... The X-men did not suck upon creation, however laremonts most impressive event is the characters he created. Fuj - 2 Superpro - .5

Ok, how many members have the X-Men had in total.
Name the members who have died.
How many incarnations of the Blackbird have there been?
Where does he get those wonderful toys!
I have yet begun to surrender.

-slym ( would roll both those kids up and smoke them) rotflmao, slym assassinates the competition from afar with one shot, multiple kills. Fuj is absolutely correct though, the X-Men is, was, and always will be the king of comics. I don't think anyone has a better run than Claremont when he penned GSX#1 and UXM#94-280. What was it, 17 years straight? And none of it sucked. (Although after Claremont left it wasn't quite as good. ) -Tom

The whole seige perilous and the invisible to cameras crapola that eventual just faded away without explanation -- that didn't suck? Nope! As far as I remember, Roma's the Celestial Guardian, and when the X-Men helped her defeat the Adversary she restored their life essences and bodies and then granted them a boon... to be 'invisible' to all scanning and recording devices/powers. This was Storm's idea, so the X-Men could strike back at the X-Men's enemies... no more reaction, it was proaction time. The 'invisibility' was contingent upon the X-men's staying out of the 'public eye'; while the world believed they were 'dead', Roma's enchantment (for lack of a better word) would be in effect. No crapola here!
