I do this for my country, and I will continue to do so.” "They are blind to history's clear lesson, for history teaches with unmistakable emphasis that appeasement but begets new and bloodier war. It points to no single instance where this end has justified that means, where appeasement has led to more than a sham peace. Like blackmail, it lays the basis for new and successively greater demands until, as in blackmail, violence becomes the only other alternative." "Why," my soldiers asked of me, "surrender military advantages to an enemy in the field?" I could not answer. - Gen Douglas MacArthur

| Okay, I got a question: Why has the X-men been lame since Paul Smith left in issue #175? And my follow up question: What is with Chris Claremont's obsession with the Savage Land?

| The X Men have not only been NOT lame since 175, but were the it book for much of the 200s Aaron. Claremont loves the savage land because he was infatuated with dinosaurs as a kid and this is his way to live vicarously through his writing pen. Fuj 2, Marcus 0

No you still lose. X-men started sucking upon creation. The most impressive thing about Claremont is the characters he created/help to create. Is there a particular arc you would like to know about?
