That's a cool pick-up, SWEd, looks like an 'ash-can' version, maybe a tad bigger.Cool

.
I wont lie, shinedown's version is good, but Lynyrd Skynyrd's is what Jesus, Chuck Norris, Chesty Puller, Ronald Reagan, and my Father listen to every morning when they wake up. -'bobthebanshee' on Skynard's 'Simple Man' (an all-time favorite)

I thought you guys may appreciate my recent Purchases and CGC submissions. I recieved most of these back recently from CGC. Let me know what you think BigGrin

X-Men 58 and GSX 1 - Both brought pre-slabbed

X-men 94 and 95, both submitted by myself

X-men 101, submitted by myself and 104, brought a while back (first slab) but recently re-holdered

X-men 121, Brought a week ago with 58, and 266, submitted by myself

X-men 475 Variant and 507 Variant, both submitted by myself

I also got these slabbed myself (except NM 87 which again I brought slabbed but had re-holdered and Avengers ann 10 which i brought a while back) and thought you may be interested as all but Chew no.1 has an X-men theme

I am particularly pleased with all these especially the NM 94 and the two variants. Cool and thought I would post some pics

Those are some sweet comics you got there, Gaz, 'specially issues 95 and 121!w00t Funny to think you have a 9.6 #121 but your #266 came back a 8.5... the god of comics works in mysterious ways, methinks...:hmmmm:

Nice pick up yourself, there, Earl... clean and collectible, yet I doubt it drained the wallet. Thats pretty much what I'm looking for from #1-93. Should I find a better #94 for a good price I'll grab it, for now my 3.0 (or thereabouts) will suffice.Cool

Sadly, I no longer own a GSXM #1.......

Did you have one and sell it?! C'mon, man, times are a little tight, but that just means you gotta cinch that belt and eat some ramen instead of caviar for a few months!BigGrin

I wished it were a laughing matter - 15 months without a job, and you start looking at things (like comic books) QUITE differently.

Sorry, man, didn't know your situation... kinda wondered where you'd been, hadn't seen you on the boards for a while. :hmmmm: Yeah, guess comics take a back seat to food and drink at a time like this for you... hope it gets a whole lot better soon!BigGrin

Recently picked up #61, 68, 69, 76 and 89 on ebay. I will post some pics once they arrive. Brings me to set of 495 and run of 479. Getting much more difficult to fill large gaps with only older issues left.
