Do you include annuals and the Giant-Size books in the total? I'm not into the variants, though I have one of #320 Rocket gave me. I'm closing in, though other expenses limit my backissue buying. Hopefully within a few years I can finish the run, though I'll probably hold off on #67-93 (reprint issues) and #1 for last (unless I get a great deal).
Here's my breakdown so far:
428 regular issues
24 annuals
3 Giant-Size issues
So if all are added up, it's 455

379 books (not including variants)...most of what I need to by now are the more expensive books.
