I hit a new high today...

(not necessarily a good thing, but it happened)

... spent about $500 on a GSX#1, UXM #'s 129, 130, 133, Batman:HUSH box-set, and some new comics.

Hope I have enough left in the budget to hit up my version of 1/2 price comics next week.

.

I wont lie, shinedown's version is good, but Lynyrd Skynyrd's is what Jesus, Chuck Norris, Chesty Puller, Ronald Reagan, and my Father listen to every morning when they wake up. -'bobthebanshee' on Skynard's 'Simple Man' (an all-time favorite)

I got a BANG BANG deal indeed. (had to swipe JJ's tagline for that one) I would rate it an 8.0, maybe a 7.5. Mo Fun also picked up a GSX#1 from the same dealer, Bob @ Bob's Comics, graded at 8.0. I posted a pic on the UXM thread under Title Sets. The pic looks REALLY GOOD, but I can't jack up the resolution so you miss a lot of the feel of its age, but still very nice. I paid $325, Mo paid $400 if I recall what Bob told me. Bob is actually a cool dude, not aloof like the last time I was there. (Probably just getting my measure the first time.)

It's all good, dude! I'll be making an appearance every other week to keep up my UXM run going, will let you know next time I head that way.

Right at $600 for a Hulk 181 and two early X-Men - that I got ripped off for, no less.
