You've probably gathered this from other responses, but it sounds like most of what you've gotten isn't worth much. The guide may list them for a few bucks each in super high grade, but good luck realizing that much. In order to do so, you'll need to sell them individually on ebay or something, and wait around until someone pops by looking for exactly what you've got. Selling 2000 comics that way will take a very long time. Personally, I value my time at more than what you'll get after going through the trouble of shipping etc.
What did you pay for the lot? There must be some stores that would buy them from you, at a small fraction of cover price. The best move might be to get someone over who has comics knowledge, to go through them all and pick out what's valuable. You can sell those ones individually on ebay, and drop the rest at a store (maybe something like newkadia.com). If you paid a only a few cents per issue on average, you'll probably come out ahead.
------------- what do I got? see for yourself: http://www.comicspriceguide.com/world/default.asp?m=Speedy-D Thanks to Kree_boy411 I've discovered the Comic Book Realm
