I notice the Alias website has now gone, so it looks like Alias is no more. A shame, as I rather liked this publisher.

Earl.

On the bright side, Earl.....

It will be easier to get a complete set! BigGrin

I just checked, I thought I had a few of these...but apparently I am at zero.

This may be one I hit on next round.

I have heard that 10th Muse isn't bad....Do you recommend any of their titles for me to check out?

(My big problem with so many of these publishers is all the d@mn variants...)

Lullaby is well worth tracking down. The whole line is a nice set of books with strong production values and some really nice covers. Storyline quality is mixed across the whole Alias line IMHO with some gems and some less demanding series. As you say there are a lot of variants but the covers are nice. There is even a CPG Exclusive edition of Atomic Mike which I have in CGC9.8 (Thanks Bryan).

Earl.

I have 16 Alias comics.  Most are 10th Muse I believe.  Alot of variant covers, but not as bad as Avatar!  hmmmmm I thought I had more...I'll have to do a manual check.

To bad they went out.... not a bad little company.

Seems that Alias joined/was bought by Lamp Post Publishers.  They seem to print mostly religious bible stories w00tPinch

Well, well....

Didn't find any news items on the Lamp Post site:

http://www.lamppostpubs.com/

BUT...does seem like we are missing almost everything they have published.

Even though I am not a Christian comic fan, I shall look....

Well, here's our last known indicia address for Alias:

8367 Lemon Ave, La Mesa CA

Here's Lamp Post:

32552 Safflower Street
Winchester, California 92596

I haven't found anything separate on Cross Culture yet.

Oh, and sorry for apparently trying to hijack the topic.

Alias site is back up Earl....

But, here's the news on it....

http://www.aliasenterprises.com/news.html

(You'll see they have a redirect now to the Lamp Post site.)

I have sent off an email to Lamp Post to see if they can give me any information on what will become of Alias' titles and properties.  We'll have to see what they say about it.
