Batman 681

I was totally disappointed with the issue...a lot of examples of bad writing in there, and just poorly done...almost seemed like a rush job.

Batman isn't dead though. His final fate will be revealed in Final Crisis and Morrison has stated in interviews that the Batman in FC is Bruce Wayne, just perhaps not as we know him.

Morrison-in some things I think he is amazing. But, I prefer linear story telling, and this was more like Pulp Fiction. Was the story, clever. Yeah, I will give him that. Is Bruce dead? Agreed, that his final fate will be revealed in Final Crisis .

But what does that mean? Do we have Captain america all over again except this time with Robin and the brat, and Jason? Already done in Cap-move on. Is Bats dead? Nah, not with a multi billion dollar movie industry.

But, what really bothers me is if Batmans final fate is to be revealed in Final Crisis, why leave everyone hanging?

Yeah, this was dissapointing. Clever at times, but dissapointing,

It was all coming together, everything was being answered..then BAM !...last few pages, just lost me... I mean, I understood the whole story so far minus a few detials from the start of the storyline, but the ending was just BAD. Someone explain it to me, please..cause...wow....it wasn't a good ending, at all..
