While I'm certain my email had nothing to do with it.........it's funny that the site has been down for over a week.

I emailed them a c&d letter. And I also notified some of the more powerful owners of these copyrghts. They had Marvel and DC books up there as well, you know... And you don't mess with the media conglomorates that own those outfits.
So let's just hope they stay down and don't resurface. @#$% pains in the arses!

I mentioned the thing to Kitchen. But I think most likely when I mentioned it to Joe Simon (who among his other accomplishments was his role as editor of SICK mag while I was writing for that noble publication in the mid '60s) That is probably when the dootyhit the fan. I don't know for sure what happened. Some kind of chain reaction, I guess.
It didn't take long, though.

Despite their disclaimer police, and agents of the court (Feds/DA's/Lawyers) are allowed to lie to them, and accept their terms, to entrap them in accepting funds of any kind for copyrighted material that they don't control the right of reproduction to.
Yeah, exactly. If they can walk into a comic shop, pay for an "illegal" comic and then turn around and arrest the clerk for selling it to them then I'm pretty sure they can stroll into a website without it affecting their authority.
