Has anyone ever heard of this site?

http://megatrafficnow.info/

It appears they are selling digital copies of comix, how complete they are is unknown to me.

Partial or complete, I cannot tell.

They claim it's legal.

I wonder about it.

They list two of the comix that I own the copyrights to.

I see that aboveground digital comics were hashed out on the old site. My bad.

Don't know for sure till the jury hands down the verdict.
But i'd say they was ripping you off.

In the '80s there was a "Lazer Disk Trading Club" that found a loophole for distributing VHS tapes. But it never really caught on.
These folks ain't that smart.

In the fine print you gotta sware that you ain't a cop, to enter.
That don't mean dooty after the "Patriot Act".
Entrapment is leagle now.

I'll give George "W" and the "Patriot Act" a skewering in Lost Cause # 4 lead story "Thirty Seconds Over Tehran". It started out in the Raygun years, currently getting ready to ink the Clinton years.

The storyboards are all about complete.

Reproducing and selling copyrighted works without consent from the copyright holder is against the law, period. That's the whole point of copyright law. And I can't imagine many judges wouldn't consider it "selling" since money is changing hands.

Wish I could take a look around though:

CHECK BACK LATER UNDER MAINTENANCE

Maybe it always says that -- until you e-mail the site and thus supposedly agree to the Terms?

That's just nuts! Who would buy a download of a comic book?!?
Plus they are breaking the Federal Copyright Law by collecting money for work they didn't produce. Hell Napster got nailed for just giving away music.
I haven't looked to see if they have Cherry Comics up there, but I will. Since I wrote several stories for those books they owe Me, Fogel, Welz, and others if they're up there.
Knowing our luck though they probably aren't in the US. Best you can hope for is to shut down the site!
