I bailed on most of my DC titles about 6 months to a year ago - hated the Morrison Batman, lost interest in both Robin and Nightwing - all series that I had long long long runs collected on.

3 years ago, all I really collected was the main DC universe. Now I am down to Detective (only because of Dini), Justice Society (only because they are my favorite characters and I like Johns - looking forward to the Willingham run), And Manhunter (which is getting cancelled again).

I am sure Jonah Hex will be gone soon, which leaves me with 2 titles, and I will bail on Detective as soon as Dini is gone for good.

Now - Vertigo is where I spend most of my money, and any Sgt Rock mini-series that comes out.

But the main DC Universe - Didio and Morrison have taken that away from me - saves me alot of money.

So you're getting the Lost Battalion then? I got the first issue of that and thought it was almost unreadable. Are you digging it?

ya - I liked the first 2 issues - have not read the 3rd issue yet, sitting on my large stack 'to be read'...now that you mention it, I can't remember much about the story other than I remember enjoying it

I think the previous Rock series was the better of the two so far, but the Hardcover 'Hell and a hard place' - I would recommend to anyone.

Been reading so much lately (Game of Thrones series, WWII book 'Crossing the Rhine', and the auto-biography of Cleveland's favorite tv personality - BIG CHUCK). The comics are falling behind again.

It seems that Tony Bedard is cursed to never get a long running gig. I was really enjoying his run on Exiles over at Marvel before Claremont butchered it and now to cancel BoP when he is writing some really cool stuff...

Where is the justice?

What if this were heaven, wouldn't it be Hell?

It does seem DC is lagging a bit these days.. I was out of comics for a bit and when I came back I couldn't really find anything too enjoyable from DC. I was a DC kid too. . I miss Robin..

If I remember correctly Robin will re-start at a later date.

yeah i agree it is sad when a long running series comes to any end... i've collected both since day 1.. but when the batman RIP series is finished they will probably relaunch the series again..
