Bye bye birdies.  This sucks!  One of the only DC titles I buy is the Birds of Prey and its being cancelled.  This sucks!

I'm only sad over Robin and Nightwing. Mostly Nightwing...

But oh well, to be honest the books were rather stale. They'd probably benefit from a break and when, and we know they will be, relaunched later.

Sucks though when such long running books end that way.

Nightwing hasn't been the same since Scott McDaniel stopped drawing it years ago.

It is sad when longrunning books get axed though.

Robin is such a flagship character too. I'm sure that title won't be gone for long.

I wonder if the Nightwing and Robin cancellations could be tied into RIP over in Batman as opposed to being dropped because of sales.

Maybe so.  I am sure DC will create 2 more titles to take their place.

Seems at least for Robin and Nightwing, this was planned long ago and is RIP related.  A chance to start yet another new series for each.

We'll see... I only have a few books in my pull now and Robin and Nightwin were both in it. Nightwing I've been ambivalent about for a while, but I thought Robin has been fantastic since OYL started. I'll ride them out to the end and then re-evaluate with launches.
