You should just be thankful Buffy has an ongoing story.  I'm a Serenity fan and we only get a 3 issues mini series once in every blue moon.  And for that I am very greatful

And besides, Joss has been very busy working on his new show - Dollhouse - so it can be ready for airing early next year.

Um...you guys got a MOVIE.

Nah, but I am extremely happy about having an ongoing when I know most every other fan of every other show that's ended does not. I just wish that, just for once, Bendis could get Powers out on time consistently and Joss Whedon could get his stuff out on time consistently. They're my two favorite writers and they both have issues with taking on too much work (e.g. not making deadlines).

And Buffy is the only book my girlfriend reads! Buffy is friggin important over here!

Ah well, at least there's True Blood

I can honestly say I haven't enjoyed television since Buffy and Angel went off the air. Very depressing when/since these have gone.

DeadOne (10/25/2008)
I can honestly say I haven't enjoyed television since Buffy and Angel went off the air. Very depressing when/since these have gone.

I felt this way for a long time, and it took a while, but I've found some worthy shows that have helped to fill not only the void Buffy and Angel left, but also X-files. Best most worthwhile shows on TV:

1) True Blood

2) Pushing Daisies

3) Fringe

4) The Office

5) House

6) Family Guy

7) My Name is Earl

8) The Simpsons

----------

Decent to pass the time with:

Heroes

Primevil

Torchwood

Gordon Ramsey (Nightmares and Hell's)

The Amazing Race

Flip This House

The Spectacular Spider-man (animation)

Robot Chicken

---------------

Stuff that you'll watch with your girlfriend...

Grey's Anatomy

Private Practice

John and Kate Plus Eight...

:::shudders:::

Can't wait for Wolverine and the X-men to be released in the states!!!

Oh, And Terminator is pretty cool. Can't wait for T4, though.

I currently watch:
CSI (the only show I look forward to..for now)
Fringe (eh!)
Heroes (eh!)
The Mentalist (double eh!)
Lost (eh!)
Clone Wars (my son and I watch...good time)
Survivor (a family tradition...eh!)
I Carly (my daughter and I watch...another good time)

My wife watches all "her" shows in the bedroom while I'm trying to sleep (Grey's Anatomy, ER, The Practice, Desperate Housewives, a couple I don't even know the names of, and re-runs of old 90210 episodes from the early 90's). Man I sleep like hell!

I have high hopes for Dollhouse.

You people are still watching Fringe?  Man that show got boring really quick!

I actually started watching Desperate Housewives once I found out that Captain Mal Reynolds was in it.  I keep wondering why he is wasting his time with those annoying woman and doesn't fly away in his ship.  Have they brainwashed him?

Fringe is tight business! The writing isn't as strong as House (or as X-files was previously), but it's going pretty well for a first season. Anyone remember the first season of Buffy?! Ack!
