| Hey guys, first off I think this is one of the greatest websites out there of any type. I was just wondering how the process works of updating the values of the comics? I mean there are literaly 1,000's of titles to keep up with. I assume you asign titles to a group of "updaters" But how often do they check the market, ebay, cons, etc.etc before they make a change if at all. Do they rely on Overstreet and/or any other price guides to help? Just curious. Thanks, GG

Input from staff, shop owners, recorded auction sales, and info from the general membership are all used to determine values... Other priceguides?...what other priceguides? .... Since all priceguides may contain errors...and printed priceguides are a year old the day they are published...they are used for historical reference only. And I forget the exact number...Earl has mentioned it many times...but with our breakdown by grades...and international listings...that leaves literally millions of prices to keep an eye on... Which is why we value the input from our great members

no one ever answered the question I and others posed of how long does the "Change in Value" post that appears under your "collection"-what has "gone up"-stay up-one week -a month?

ruk (4/10/2008) no one ever answered the question I and others posed of how long does the "Change in Value" post that appears under your "collection"-what has "gone up"-stay up-one week -a month?Hi Ruk. Just so you don't think I was ignoring you personally I have no idea what the answer is, hence me not answering your question last time you posted. Hopefully Bryan will chip in with an answer. Earl.

It's a bit mystical to me how the prices on this site seem to fluctuate and seem pretty current. There are just so damn many titles to keep an eye on, kudos to the mods is all I can say. It would be interesting if there was a comparable website out there but I really don't think there is.
