You know what they say about one man's trash!

I'm not trying to say your finds are trash because I get alot of old items from garage sales too. My mother and wife go every Friday and Saturday and let me know of anything I may be intrested in. And it's become alot easier with camera phones! They just send me pics and I can say Yes or No!

Also I go garbage picking on the 2 days a year our city has "Big Garbage Day" and find all kinds of goodies. I found He-Man toys, a light up ghost for the front lawn w/workjing light bulb, an old rustic wooden barrel, bowling trophies, perfectly good tricycles, underwear...j/k!

Last week my brother grabbed an old wooden trunk. It wasn't in the best of shape but he's very good with wood and he is fixing it up. He said he's searched eBay and seen similar trunks going for $400-500!

I'm just waiting for the day when some old lady throws out a box of old comics! I can dream can't I?

Not to pick nits, but....to be classified as MINT, wouldn't they technically have to be full of Coke or Pepsi?

My wife loves going the thrift shops.  Our basement is full of such treasures as you can not imagine.  I guess it's a Green thing.  If they weren't filling up our basement, they'd be filling some public landfill.
