The comic book is the marijuana of the nursery, the bane of the bassinet, the horror of the home, the curse of the kids and a threat to the future. -John Mason Brown American literary Critic, (1900-1969)

AARRRRRGH!!

Bill The Cat, Opus, Steve Dallas (one of my idols), Milktoast, Hodge Podge and Portnoy,... BLOOM COUNTY WAS THE BEST COMIC EVER! I had a lot of the books, I laughed so hard at most of Billy and the Boingers Bootleg it drove my friend nuts. Admittedly I didn't read Outland, and didn't know about Opus, but mostly because it wasn't available to me. (Too many years spent overseas. Thppppt!)

Ack! Thpppppt!!

"I have recently been examining all the known superstitions of the world, and do not find in our particular superstition (Christianity) one redeeming feature. They are all alike founded on fables and mythology."
