I'm with Marmat on this..even though I stopped picking up this title at issue 3 (let's not go into that..), I'm actually liking this cover..I really dig Quitely's work..

Not a fan, don't care for the cover... but here's a thought.  The Robin in All star Batman is obviously quite tougher with a much more cynical attitude then the Robin of 1950 etc.  Why then would he agree to wear such a lame and no insult intended "gay" costume.  Short shorts, fairy boots, sleeveless button up shirt. if that doesn't scream Gay pride I don't know what does.  Why not just use the 90's revamp wit the green tights, black boots, and red top.  It would ave fit much better with the whole attitude of the book, and kept the charactor as someone you could actually believe was a threat to someone (especially green lantern after what happened last ish).

Well, I don't read the book, so I can't comment on the "tough" guy issues. But since when does the gay community have a monopoly on sweet-looking boots and shorts? I see nothing "gay" about the costume. I actually like it, especially as Quitely draws it; has a Peter Pan-like feel to it. And let's be honest, a bat mask with pointy ears and grey spandex doesn't scream "I'm manly" either.

Well, I was planning on not buying the variants for this series anymore(I couldn't help it on the first seven issues, I'm a sucker for Miller art),but it looks like that won't be happening yet.

actually it is turning into a good read... and remember the key word here is 'variant'... dunno 'bout you but seems to me variant covers have a tendecy to use a little more creative freedom on their covers.

the cover doesn't impress me much. Robin looks like a twig easily snapped not someone who dishes out punishment in the name of justice. I stopped getting this series after the long waits for issues early on. I do like most of Quitely's artwork though. Just not this piece.
