Yes, indeedy. The DCU is full of odball animal characters. I would link you to Wikipedia's page but the board keeps telling me I can't "post only HTML, Images, etc" for some reason, even though I'm including a message.

Anyway, just search Comet (DC Comics) on wikipedia.

Ouch!
Even though Comet is the least appealing of the Super Pets thats not fair. He'd want another horse, not supergirl!

Well as the "BatFan" I see why!
But Krypto actually had stories based around him, with Superboy, long before they did the same for "Ace".
Plus I kinda like the more "outta control" Krypto of the 1950's. Where Superboy would have to keep Krypto chained up on a distant planet so he would destroy stuff!
