[b]Ian Levine (7/28/2008)
I beg you all. anyone who knows about ANY new DC giveaway, please post the info on here so we can look for them.

Seconded - It is hard to keep up with the giveaways, especially for us in the UK , I only spotted the "whatever happened to the man of tomoorow?" dvd giveaway on ebay by chance & it was only while looking up the "'Til death" giveaway you mentioned Ian that I spotted the wildstorm "Pushing daisies" comic

[b]Ian Levine (7/28/2008)Is it normal comic sized and however did you acquire it ??

The Advertising giveaway is normal comic size - it is exactly the same as a standard comic of 1984 - it reprints adverts though - no comics in it. I got it from a former DC editor

[b]batfan (7/28/2008)how rare is the twisted metal comic anyway? 1-5 copies? more?

My copy came from a DC editor, I suspect it was never issued - if that's the case then it might be as rare as "supergear" certainly it would seem to be too rare to have been properly distributed

Similarly I can't think of any reason why the "quest for camelot" giveaway should be so hard to find unless it too wasn't actually issued - you guessed it that came from the same source too

[b]Ian Levine (8/3/2008)Here's what I think I still need...

LOONEY TUNES TYSON MINI-COMICS "The Great Scavenger Hunt" - 7
LOONEY TUNES TYSON FIRST SERIES - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 except for the Daffy Duck

The Above two were on ebay in february 2007, I think metarog outbid me on them, I have personally acquired a grand total of one tyson giveaway ( scavenger hunt #4 ) they are a nightmare but outside of DC or looney tunes completists they're probably only worth a dollar at best.

I thought you got this one off ebay Ian - does anyone know who ended up with it - the auction was pulled and relisted a few days later with the "Supergear" blanked out

Ian I will contact you via the message service on this site at the weekend - I did try contacting you on the old site to pass on some details that might help you with the two books you wanted me to post pictures of above,  but obviously you didn't see the message.

I think you're fantastic.
It's such a joy to have someone else in the UK so knowledgeable.
I wonder if you have other stuff I never heard of, and vice versa.

Now here's one that recently turned up that up till now I was beginning to think was an urban myth.
I searched for years and never found a trace of it to justify its existence.
