I promised myself that I would not buy any more comics this year, but could not resist this one.

Amazing condition for a book from 1945!

That's it and I officially will not like you any less this year than I already do no matter how many more comics you buy.

And I would give it a 9.0 with off white pages.

Where does he get those wonderful toys!

I have yet begun to surrender.

Thanks guys, I have decided to make Worlds Finest Comics my next targeted run.

I only have the two early ones so far, this one and a CGC copy of #11, but will try and pick up some more graded copies, focusing on the earlier issues.

Where have you been crow?????

--------------------------------------------

“I don’t do this for the Commander in Chief.  I do this for my country, and I will continue to do so.”

"They are blind to history's clear lesson, for history teaches with unmistakable emphasis that appeasement but begets new and bloodier war. It points to no single instance where this end has justified that means, where appeasement has led to more than a sham peace. Like blackmail, it lays the basis for new and successively greater demands until, as in blackmail, violence becomes the only other alternative."

"Why," my soldiers asked of me, "surrender military advantages to an enemy in the field?" I could not answer.

No, never posted on CGC boards before.

I have been very busy getting the new resort into shape. Check out this website....

Coming up to my first year here and will probably be looking for a new challenge early 2009.
