Hey Earl,
Nice to see there are people who still appreciate the real classics! Congrats, as there can't be too many of those still floating about, and it looks to be in very nice shape! Comics as antiques, indeed....almost a 100 year old funnybook!

do penny dreadfuls count ? got some back in the 80's sent them to james warren back then

convinced me to sell him 2-4 pieces of them..think the earliest one i had was1837? i still got it somewhere earl can you shed some light on them for ...kind of looks like s newspaper

it's all plup paper, the front page has art usually about 1/2 pg..i think they were about 10-12 pgs the were stories written and illustrated  also they were ads ..probably the best part of it

besides the art ..someone borrowed my scanner so no pic...sorry.

Not terribly valuable (except to me), but I just got THIS:

I absolutely love it!  I'm going to try to get some interior pages up using my camera, rather than my scanner.

What is really neat is inside it says it was given to 'Dorthy Brown' when she was 3 years old in Willow Springs, MO.  It has the name of who gave it to her, but I can't make it out.

I would imagine the comic has outlived the owner, but who knows?
