Darkseid will be the major villain behind the crisis.

The whole surehero community is on her knees, only BAtman is able to fix it, because Darkseid underestimate him for being powerless. I some way Bruce Wayne get superpowers, Mr MArvel style, and in a final confrontation defeat Darkseid.

Now something happens and the twisted personality of Bruce Wayne will surface. He start to put together a team to fight crime the way he like (All Star BAtman style, very bad ***) and off course the team leaded by Superman has to stop him.

Here start the 2009 DC blockbuster event, Superman vs BAtman, the fight you always wanted to see.

While I WAY prefer DC characters and books by far, I am growing more and more distant with the major storyline crap they have been shoving down our throats - both companies have been doing it a bit too much lately.  When will they learn from the past?  I guess when people stop buying the crap.

I will stick to my normal titles and if I do buy into anything this year, I MIGHT be more apt to check out Secret Invasion than Final Crisis...but I plan to stay away from both.

My new titles for the year will be Madam Xanadu (Matt Wagner) and of course, the Manhunter redux.

Actually looking forward to this. This should be the thrird part of the crisis trilogy and I am anxious to see what they do with the multiverse.

I'm getting tired of these big events, too. They've been going constantly since like 2005. That's 3 years if they stop now. They'll probably even have some "after story" going when Final Crisis ends. I don't buy any of this junk, but I'll probably end up picking up Final Crisis just to be in the know. I don't have a single issue of Countdown or 52. Proud of it too.

BUT......I agree with marmat. Only Batman, the guy with no super powers whatsoever, can stop this stuff. He gets super powers and takes down Supes for the last time. Here's hoping it happens.

This will still blow Secret Invasion away.

Like I said before on the old forum, Risk is bound to lose a leg. He can't lose anymore arms.
