There is an auction on ebay italy of Akira 34 to 38 that is currently at $104....

I know that in Spain, Italy and France Akira was first published in the same format that Epic did in the USA, and also issues 36 37 and 38 are extremely rares.

If rumors about an Akira movie (not animated) are ture, expect those issues to break price records for a manga

38 is the rarest and most expensive. I have been watching it go on ebay for around $30

I have an almost full 2nd run of the Marvel ishes that I want to sell but I cannot find another 38 cheaply.  I am missing 31 and 38.

I found the 38 that completed my first run in an akira lot with no issue numbers in the title.
