The bidding for the dubious copy on ebay went to $94K.  I think the book on Heritage will go to at least $150K.

i think the people were fooled by the auction because it didnt state there was resto until after some board members confronted the guy selling it.

Perhaps, but the pics did show rather crappy interior pages coupled with the seemingly nice looking cover.  In contrast, the heritage item has been graded and has OW-W pages.  The nebulous "pieces added" will hold the price down somewhat, although having Moderate rather than Extensive restoration will probably mitigate some concerns of a hideous Franken-book.

Great that the seller mentioned it, but I found it absolutely hilarious that PGX missed some of the resto.

I honestly don't think that book should be higher than an 8.5 though.
