| Has anyone else noticed that more than 50% of titles, if not more are priced $3.99 now? I thought gas prices were getting outrageous!!! Most of the issues I have seen don't even give you value for that extra dollar. Reprinting issues you already own(*cough* marvel *cough*)? This is really starting make me back away from a lot of books. Any thoughts?

| When comics were $2.50 I picked up over 80 regular titles a month. Now I get just 7 regular titles and spend my cash on back issues instead. Earl.

| I used to buy every title of a crossover, now I just follow the crossover. If it stays this way, I may follow suit and pick up my few main titles and save money for the cons. Probably would be cheaper to buy the titles on eBay after the fact anyway.

| Hello, I do not know how many regular titles I pick up now, but most are not form Marvel or DC. Comics prices are high, I agree. I spend most of my comics budget on key back issues that I want. The only story that I am ordering with all crossovers included is BATMAN R.I.P.. An ebay dealer was willing to give me 20% of all cover prices (even the 1st print Batman #676, which was already a month old when I started buying the series, which others had tried to sell me for $10). It seems to be a good storyline. I like to buy my books from my local comic shop (comics lovers of the world unite!!), but it can be sooo expensive; however, I understand that he has to make a profit (but his gain can be my pain sometimes, ouch...ouch). I guess if you are looking to save money, you could find a good ebay vendor who will bill you monthly, and give you a discount off of every cover price. You will probably save a bunch. Tex

| Be honest with you I get one of everything and double of all #1's. Even with my 30% off if starting to get way to much. I no longer look at my credit card statements and just enjoy the comics i get. 3.99 has been going on for about 9 months now and no slow down in sight. Jesse James
P.s. I get free bag and boarding so I save some money tehre but not alot.

No, I haven't noticed that..because it isn't true.
only the big main event books..(I'm talking about Marvel and DC) are 3.99. Which is a lot, but i understand it. More time go into these, and they hire big names to do them. The variants are another thing. But if you're dumb enough to fall for that marketing crap, not my problem...
But all the single title books are all still 2.99.
hell, Image has some books that are 2.95...

I'm not knowledgeable in the price trends of comics, therefore, I would like to know if it is a possibility that comics will decrease in price at some point in time?
