| I recently started looking for some 5 cent comic covers and thanx to some help from Toz. found some on the GCD. They all seem to go up to number 7.

Actually RF. I didn't mean I had found them and bought them, i mean I was looking for information on 5 cent comics and another member pointed them out at the Grand Comics Database. Now that I know they are out there I do want to find at least one regular sized 5 cent comic. Anyone know if any of these are regular size like a normal golden age book? That's cool that you own some Shadow but I didn't realise they were digest size.

All of the "Nation-wide" books are 5 in X 7.25 in...digest size... ...and they are from 1950...Dell Comics did a one-shot in 1938...it was digest-size...
Back in 1940 Fawcett put out a book called "Nickel Comics"... They started with an ashcan called "5 Cent Comics"
Then did an ashcan called "Nickel Comics"
Then did the series "Nickel Comics"
The Fawcett books were regular size...but they only had 36 pages when most of the other books were at 52 or more...
