GREAT issue! I had the same thought on the ending after reading it though, annihilation seems likely, and, I just found out, there's only 2 issues left! 
No way!!! That means that these last two books gotta bring the mutha truckin' pain! It's gonna be a ride!
I enjoed Haunt. Wasn't the best book I've ever read, but with Kirkma,McFarlane, Ottley and Capullo all keep reading it cause I have no doubt that it will be good over the long run.
I agree totally. It's got potential. If they develop the character a bit more - more backstory, and more or an explanation of his powers - I'm in!!

Ellis, espcecially with his Avatar books, has done a lot of titles with multiple volumes. Could be that it's just Volume One that is ending, not the entire series. Hey Z, I have a question. You know Ennis' habits way better than I (because you've read more of his stuff). He doesn't wait until the end of the series to pull an M. Night Shyamalan does he? You know, some big twist that was never even hinted at in the series? I just ask because I just see no way out for the characters. I wonder what situation he'll use for the climax, I think that they'll all have to be in dire peril of course, and what will be the resolution?
I'm starting to get really stoked about this!

Well, I can't say he NEVER does it, cause he just did in the last issue of No Hero, but I wouldn't say it's a habit with him.I'm expecting a straight-forward(but,hopefully, really disturbing) ending.

Well, I can't say he NEVER does it, cause he just did in the last issue of No Hero, but I wouldn't say it's a habit with him.I'm expecting a straight-forward(but,hopefully, really disturbing) ending.
Looks like we are approaching that disturbing ending you were talking about brother,
Stan is going. He's lost enough of his humanity to kill because of annoyance. Cindy is dejected due to the murder of her son by the Crossed. Everyone else is floating. The last issue was really moving, but again, not much action. Great story though. I feel the horror building up...it's on the horizon.
Let me know if you've read the latest installment before I start to gab. If you have, what do you think?

| Another solid issue, but I have to admit I'm missing some of the craziness from those first few issues. Ellis was freaking me out in those,and, while the last couple have been decent, I'm ready for the you-know-what to hit the fan next issue.

Another solid issue, but I have to admit I'm missing some of the craziness from those first few issues. Ellis was freaking me out in those,and, while the last couple have been decent, I'm ready for the you-know-what to hit the fan next issue.
I do feel the same,
Nothing too shocking or horrifying in the last couple of issues. I am feeling a bit more connected to the characters though...which I am sure will spell heartache for me in the near future. I am sorry that the child died.
What do you make of the very last narration block in the book?

I just read the last issue,
I wish I was one of the Crossed...I'd make Ennis eat his own poop. This series started with a bang and ended with a wah-wah-wah-waaaaaaah.
Talk about anti-climactic. Viagra couldn't have gotten that last issue going. Over a year of my life. I can't believe it.
Am I being too harsh Z? Where was the big finish?!!

Am I being too harsh Z? Where was the big finish?!! TEX Well, I'll agree that it didn't finish as strong as it started, but I didn't have as harsh as a reaction as you,lol. I liked how the guy with the blind girl(sorry, can't remember their names at the moment} was turned. And the wasy the Crossed kind of turned on each other was interesting. I don't know, now that I'm thinking about it, it really DIDN'T have that big memorable moment that you would expect in a final issue for a story like this. I still think that as a whole it was a good series, just maybe not as good as those first few issues indicated it would be.
