  Hello All,

I was wondering if you gents (and/or ladies) might give me a spot of help. I have two issues of Swamp Thing #37, the 1st app of John Constantine. One of the issues has the DC 50th year anniversary logo in the box where the barcode should be. The other actually has the barcode there. I put this question to you gents (because many of you are for more expert than I): "Would either of these be considered variants?". Thank you in advance for your help.

Respectfully,

Dave

Here is a pic of the one with the logo:

A pic of the comic with the barcode is attached.

Thanks,

Dave

What a GREAT book by Moore and still one of my favorites. Alas, this would not be considered a true variant. What you have is both the Direct(comic store version) as well as the newsstand version(barcode). That all being said, while it may not be considered  a "true" variant, one can NEVER part with any book by Alan Moore nor have enough.

Hope this helps!

Mark,

You are the man. I love Alan Moore's work too. Especially his run on Swamp Thing. Thank you for clarifying this for me.

Tex
