hi
how many issues of this comic were produced? , the joker was one of my favourite villians from batman and i see that there is a comic that id dedicated to him so was looking at maybe collecting this first

where they stand alone stories or are they spin offs from other titles : ie will i be able to follow them if i just get the joker comics or do i need other comics to get the full storys

Self-contained within the frame work of the series, there was a continuity through the books but only in how it relates to the title character. You do not need any other books to enjoy these.
Where does he get those wonderful toys!
