Well personally even if they keep Tony as a Skrull I'll be okay with it. It may just go a long way to making him relikable again and the idea that even he didn't know he was a Skrull at least keeps continuity flowing for me.  Was hoping they'd advance some more of the who's real and who's not on that ship storyline but that'll probably happen this month in Mighty Avengers or New Avengers.

The story itself was a fairly lame read though. Basically you get lame super group #1 (Young Avengers/Runaways) getting their asses kicked. Then you get lame super group #2 (Avengers Initiative) getting demolished but don't worry at the end you get the arrival of lame super group #3 (Fury's new little army featuring a kid who should be in Power Pack?) Oh ya Skrulls are in trouble now!

What's in my long boxes? http://www.comicspriceguide.com/world/default.asp?m=icebreaka

I think it would be a cop-out to have Tony as a Skrull, but really how else does this guy get back in the good graces with the rest of the superheroes (and the fans). Everything he has done as of late has made him pretty despicable to the point where people wouldn't mind seeing him killed off.

And another thing.  How many innocent people were killed during that battle with the Young Avengers????

"They are blind to history's clear lesson, for history teaches with unmistakable emphasis that appeasement but begets new and bloodier war. It points to no single instance where this end has justified that means, where appeasement has led to more than a sham peace. Like blackmail, it lays the basis for new and successively greater demands until, as in blackmail, violence becomes the only other alternative."

"Why," my soldiers asked of me, "surrender military advantages to an enemy in the field?" I could not answer.

After reading the New Avenger Tie-In issues I'm liking Nick Fury again. The Commandos could actualy be good, I mean I just can't wait to see Aries reaction to his son being on a super team, run by nick fury, without his permission. Oh, the insanity that will ensue.lol. Anyways I'm loving Secret Invasion, issue 2 disappointed me,but 3 reinstalled hope into my soul that Secret Invasion will be a good crossover. Tony is not a skrull (at least I DONT think Marvel would do something that lame) it's got to be a fake-out,but truthfully it would make me mad if he was a skrull just disappointed that they would pull a stunt like that. Seriously.

Yeah could have used a better name maybe they are like the "New" Howling Commandos??? I could see it happening. I mean it is Nick Fury.
