superdupernova81 (8/1/2008) Well who cares what "Mint" really is or the impossability of itPeople, like yourself, who care about the monetary value of what they have should care what "Mint" is, because a possible buyer surely will...the best way to increase the value of that particular comic book is to sit down and read it, you might like it (if so...the value goes up ) i agree!

superdupernova81 (8/1/2008) Well who cares what "Mint" really is or the impossability of it, it is what we grew up with. well i did anyway. to me, mint is just this. no creases, no rips, no jagged edges or corners. so my book is just that. i never read it. i wasnt into reading them. i just collected a few.
Then why even pick it up if you didn't read it? Is it because it being #100 you thought it may become special down the track? And Mint is pretty rare to get and most likely the book you have isn't 'Mint' at all. Your opinion may make you think you have a mint book but really that is the first mistake that many people make. Do a little homework and you'll learn about what MINT really is and how it's not really that common.
Usually you can tell if someone thinks their comic is mint they know little bout grading.
And actually..you must 'care' about "mint" otherwise you wouldn't have mentioned the condition of the comic book
